Property tax reform is at the top of the agenda for New Jersey lawmakers. Following an unprecedented summer legislative session, four Joint Legislative Committees issued reports on November 15 containing nearly 100 recommendations.

The Hall Institute of Public Policy — New Jersey was established to serve as a forum for thoughtful debate and discussion that will foster solutions to our state's challenges and problems. In keeping with this mission, we are devoting a special section of our website to property tax reform.

We encourage you to read the studies and reports and to join us in a constructive dialogue on this most important issue.
